The Hakomi Method
Hakomi Therapy is a body-centered psychotherapy that integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and experiential techniques to uncover and transform unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns. By cultivating a non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, emotions, and body sensations, Hakomi promotes deep self-discovery, healing, and personal growth in a compassionate, non-violent environment. This transformative approach fosters the integration of mind and body, helping individuals achieve lasting emotional well-being and personal transformation.

"The important thing is to become a gateway
through which the love which is present
can welcome the love that has been waiting."

Shame often feels like a barrier to self-acceptance, but what if it could be a doorway to healing? In this transformative half-day workshop, we will explore how shame—rooted in early life experiences and trauma—can be reframed as an opportunity for self-compassion, growth, and integration.
Drawing on the wisdom of Gabor Maté and Hakomi principles, we will guide you through a series of body-centered practices and mindful exercises designed to connect with the physical sensations of shame, understand its roots, and shift the narrative toward self-acceptance. You’ll have the chance to explore your shame stories with curiosity and compassion, recognizing how these experiences have shaped your relationship with yourself and your body.
Through trauma-informed inquiry, mindfulness, and breathwork, we’ll work together to release the grip of shame, transform it into a source of empowerment, and reconnect with your authentic self. This workshop is designed to help you not only understand the origins of shame but to find a path toward healing and authenticity, allowing you to move into the new year with a deeper sense of self-compassion and freedom.
