  • Jon-Eric Steinbomer

Certified Hakomi Practitioner (CHP) through the Hakomi Education Network
    Hakomi Instructor
    Somatic Psychotherapist (Pre-Licensed)

Jon Eric is a Certified Hakomi Practitioner (CHP) and Hakomi Instructor through the Hakomi Education Network and a graduate of 320-hour training from the Hakomi Institute. He is in clinical practice as a Somatic Psychotherapist (Pre-Licensed), completing his final year of study in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling through Naropa University. Jon Eric brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to his practice, including specializations in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt therapy, and Appreciative Inquiry.

After earning his BS in Psychology, Jon-Eric enjoyed an extensive 20+ year career as a product researcher in the tech industry. His experience in the fast-paced corporate world provided him with firsthand insight into the potential for harm resulting from the pressures inherent in that environment, and this sparked a yearning to find another way to relate to his desire to live in accord with right livelihood. In 2015, he discovered Zen meditation and the Hakomi Method through his mentor and teacher, Flint Sparks. These two transformative practices allowed him to reconnect with his body and heart, inspiring him to support others on their healing journeys. Guided by the Zen vow of the Bodhisattva, he focuses on fostering mindfulness, compassion, and personal growth in his clients.

Please contact Jon-Eric to set up a free 30-minute consultation session.

Who you are is not your fault, but it is your responsibility. A sign of growth is having more tolerance for discomfort but less tolerance for barriers that inhibit love. Krzysztof uses his training in Hakomi, Internal-Family Systems, jiu-jitsu, endurance running, Non-Violent Communication, and Zen as a way of seeing through our habits and moving into freedom. By releasing old feedback loops, you’ll become who you really, truly are—and notice that life meets you with boundless joy and fun when you do! Let’s explore! Let's play!
